Beginning 9/3/21, complementary liftgate service will be included, this means that we will unload your feed order from our truck using our liftgate and pallet jack and drop it at an approved unloading site on your property, no hand unloading required! Prior to 9/3/2021, feed must be unloaded using customer supplied unloading machinery (forklift, tractor, etc, or will require hand unloading.
To protect your farm biosecurity, we will properly disinfect our truck tires, wheels, and frame before entering your farm, and after dropping off your delivery. We will also put on disposable foot booties upon entering your property, and remove them upon exiting your property.
(Unloading Site Requirements)
We will deliver to:
A barn, garage, shop, or an area outside near the entrance to your property, but we will not, for liability reasons, move feed from the original unloading area to another area, we will also not enter the customer's home.
Damages:
To avoid accidental damages to our truck, no direct unloading by means of customer equipment will be allowed, (forklift, tractor etc). Instead, we will lower the pallet to the ground using our liftgate, then using a pallet jack, pull the pallet off of the liftgate, so that you may pick it up with a customer supplied piece of equipment (forklift, tractor etc.) if you choose to move the pallet to another location.
What to expect from our delivery team:
We will use the truck pictured above which is specifically outfitted for the purpose of feed transport and delivery, to complete your delivery. (Beginning 9/3/21, liftgate service will be included, liftgate not pictured above).
We will arrive in a timely manner, and will call prior to delivery to confirm our arrival time, and to ensure that the customer will be present to take delivery of their order.
We will be professional and courteous at all times.
We will always observe proper biosecurity procedures to ensure that your farm biosecurity is maintained.
Pallets of feed will be properly shrink-wrapped and palletized to ensure safe and secure unloading. If inclement weather is expected, we will use raincovers on each pallet and will also properly tarp the entire load, using a freight grade waterproof tarp, to ensure that no water or moisture gets into the feed bags during transit.
We will show up ready to help and will unload your feed wherever it is requested, as long as it meets our approved unloading site requirements (listed above)
We look forward to being able to deliver your feed order directly to your farm!
